An Overview of Eating Disorders

People with eating disorders are intensely obsessed with their appearance and weight. Three of the most common eating disorders are anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating. Almost 20% of patients diagnosed with an eating disorder suffer death, proving that they are very serious. Eating disorders cause many physical effects, such as affecting the heart, blood pressure, the gastrointestinal system, the reproductive system, and much more. For some patients, medication is enough to cure them, but for others, they only make things worse. Eating Disorders are very serious and if found, proffessional help should be sought.
